It seems that I have fallen behind in my little blogging world here, and I’ve been tagged twice by my sister over at Rambling Along. So today I will play catch up with that. And then I will try and catch up on my blog reading.
Tag Number One
You are supposed to find the 6th folder in your pictures directory and post the 6th photo in it.
So here are the instructions:
1. Go to your sixth picture folder then pick your sixth picture.
2. Pray that you remember the details.
3. Tag 5 others, leave a comment to let them know they’ve been tagged. (I’ll do this at the end of my post.)
Here’s the picture:
This picture was taken last summer at the Milwaukee Public Museum. It is a replica of an Easter Island statue. My children love the movie Night at the Museum. In the movie, there is an Easter Island Statue that at night wants gum-gum. Here is a link to a video clip for you. This wasn’t too difficult of a tag. Although I was surprised that the picture was relatively recent, but that was because all of our older pictures are in a folder that isn’t number 6.
Tag Number 2:

I’ve been given an ” Uber Amazing Blog” award, by my sister. I feel quite honored that she finds me “awesome.”
Again, the rules:
1. Link to the person or persons who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.
5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.
Six Random Things About Me:
1. I can read articles/stories/words that are upside down, and I read almost as quickly that way as I do when words are right-side up. I have a love of words and I will read just about anything that has been put in front of me.
2. I love word games. I’ve become a Pathwords addict on Facebook.
3. I love over-sized hooded sweatshirts, preferebly in grey, and with some wording on them. So the cooler weather makes me happy. (For now.)
4. I love to sing and I sing along to songs whenever I get the chance. I know the words to just about any song that I’ve heard even just a couple of times. Hymns, children’s songs, rock and roll, country music, folk songs, anything. I need the music, and I can’t just pull the lyrics from the “top of my head”, but my friends think I’m a walking jukebox. By the way: I do NOT do karaoke.
5. I love pasta. Lots and lots of pasta. I could live on noodles. Of course, I’d need chocolate for dessert.
6. I can’t wait for the Christmas season. I love decorating my house for Christmas.
There you have it. I’ve completed my tags. So now I need to tag people. So I’m going to tag the same people for both items. Maybe that’s cheating, but it works for me.
The following blogs have now been tagged, so go check all of them out. They are very deserving of the Uber Amazing Blog Award!
1. Elbows, Knees and Dreams
2. Life is Funny Wearing Purple Colored Glasses
3. Whatever I Think
4. Reflecting
5. Answer Starts With You
6. A New Way of Life

The Christmas season arrived last month, didn’t it?
Ah, you must not have gotten the memo
No lie, I’ve already heard Christmas music.
God help us.
Everyone . . .

So glad you tagged Debra – I felt bad that I hadn’t. By the way, with the new hymnals in place, we’ve had some doozies that would make all three of us chuckle at inappropriate moments. (I’ll have to share with you.)

Thanks for tagging me. I completed my mission.
I could live in sweatshirts and jeans! Too bad here in Texas I only get about 2 months to wear them!

My kids would love to see that statue! They love that part in the movie, and are ALWAYS saying the dum-dum part. *lol*
I can read upside-down too.
