On Monday, January 19th we remembered Martin Luther King, Junior and the dreams of change he cherished so deeply.
Today is Tuesday, January 20th 2009, and President-Elect Barack Obama will become the 44th President of the United States of America.
No matter what your political views, you can celebrate your freedom. Celebrate your freedom of speech, your freedom to hope, dream and pray. I realize it is not the 4th of July, but I truly believe these two special days give us the opportunity to reflect on our country, our rights, and our freedom.

Isn’t America great?! I thank God all the time for placing me here instead of some other country.

We do have a very unique country – and it does make it seem like anything is possible. God bless.

Even though I can’t listen/watch the video, I’m already humming the song in my head. One of my faves.

You’re so right… We have so much to be thankful for, because America is STILL the greatest country in the world.

Is Obama actually the 44th president?
Think about it and ask your class . . .
Interesting.
