This past week we purchased a deck box to hold the cushions for our outdoor furniture. It has also become a prop for dark and strange humor.
Last night my children took turns pretending to be a zombie in a coffin. While one child played the zombie, the other child acted as a door to door (or coffin to coffin, if you prefer) salesperson. Apparently zombies don’t need to upgrade their cable and receive free phone service from Charter. However, zombies do enjoy using furniture cushions for personal comfort.
They found this imaginary game not only fun, but also quite amusing.
My children are weird.
I think they may have inherited my slightly warped sense of humor.

Did they start drawing decapitated heads in a freezer on the concrete or running the cannibalism diner?
Not that I know anything about playing either of those games… (I’m surprised mom & dad didn’t have us all committed.)
