Teacher Quiz

12 Jun

This is a quiz I found and thought it might give a few of you a good chuckle.

Are you a true teacher?Β  Take this quiz to find out!

1. Do you ask guests if they have remembered their scarves and mittens as they leave your home?

2. Do you move your dinner partner’s glass away from the edge of the table?

3. Do you ask if anyone needs to go to the bathroom as you enter a theater with a group of friends?

4. Do you hand a tissue to anyone who sneezes?

5. Do you refer to happy hour as “snack time?”

6. Do you say “I like the way you did that!” to the mechanic who repairs your car to your satisfaction?

7. Do you ask “Are you sure you did your best?” to the mechanic who fails to repair your car to your satisfaction?

8. Do you sing the “Alphabet Song” to yourself as you look up a number in the phone book?

9. Do you say everything twice? I mean, do you repeat everything?

10. Do you fold your spouse’s fingers over the coins as you hand him/her the money at a tollbooth?

-If you answered yes to 4 or more, it’s in your soul–you are hooked on teaching. And if you’re not a teacher, you
missed your calling.

-If you answered yes to 7 or more, well, maybe it’s TOO MUCH in your soul–you should probably think about retirement.

-If you answered yes to all 10, forget it–you’ll ALWAYS be a teacher, retired or not!

Let me know where you rank.

When I graduated form high school 41 years ago I wanted to be a teacher but it never panned out. I didn’t finish college because my parents talked me out of it. They thought I should go to work right away just like they did. Fortunately everything worked out OK but I think I was a born teacher. I think I pretty much hit the 10 spot as I knew I would. I may not know a heck of a lot but I love teaching people what I do know. I loved the test.

I just get the impression from you that you are a great teacher because you love what you do.

*lol* … When I was reading the questions, I kept saying to myself, “Well, I do that for/to the kids!” … I may not be a teacher, but I am a Mama! *lol*

    I got 4. I’m satisfied being a doctor though. πŸ™‚

I agree with Julie – I think a lot of moms do this. At least I do!

I echo what joanharvest said … I was thinking of going into teaching when I finished University, but I was lured into a computer job for the money … now I regret the decision but I can not afford to start again … one day maybe.

I suppose I did the next best thing by marrying one πŸ˜‰

I only got 3…but that’s because I say “It’s time for treats!” instead of calling it snack time. πŸ™‚
